Parisian network transport tickets are coming to iPhone. This Tuesday, May 21, 2024, Île-de-France Mobilités launched support for the Navigo Pass directly in Maps.

Thanks to this integration, available only on models with iOS 17.5 installed, users can go directly to the application, press the + button at the top right, then select Transport Cards and Navigo to acquire tickets.

Please note, only T+ Tickets, Reduced T+ Tickets, T+ Carnets (10 tickets), Day Pass, OrlyBus and RoissyBus are currently available.

After purchasing one of these titles, the user will be able to validate them on the terminals using NFC technology, without having to validate the action with Face ID, Touch ID or even their unlock code. As a bonus, this implementation also provides the possibility of using tickets when the iPhone is discharged.

Another interesting fact is that users can transfer titles directly to their Apple Watch. However, it is impossible to have them on both devices at the same time.

Concerning the import of physical Navigo cards, the functionality is not currently available. As compensation, an update to the Île-de-France Mobilités application now allows you to purchase your weekly or monthly subscription and add it directly to the Maps application.
