Announced at the beginning of January at CES 2022, at the same time as the new X15 and X17, the new Alienware X14 arrives in France to compete with Acer and ASUS (in particular) on the market for ultraportable gaming

Alienware is pleased to inform us that its new X14 is available from today on the French market. This 14-inch gaming ultraportable is the thinnest in its class, claims the Dell subsidiary… which wants to make a place for itself in the hearts of gamers who love mobility.
A competitor to the Zephyrus G14 and Triton 300 SE
In this case, the Alienware X14 does not exceed 321.5 x 262.7 x 14.5 mm for 1.84 kg. In terms of format, it is therefore positioned right in front of the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 and Acer Predator Triton 300 SE, two 14-inch gaming laptops that we had the opportunity to test on Clubic.
Despite its very contained format, the new compact machine from Alienware is muscular. It relies in particular on 12th generation Intel processors (up to Core i7-12900H), but also on RTX 3000 from NVIDIA (up to the RTX 3060 in 85 W). Finally, we can find a maximum of 32 GB of LPDDR5 at 5,200 MHz.
On the display side, the X14 has a 14-inch Full HD / 144 Hz panel covering 100% of the DCI-P3 spectrum and amounting to 400 cd / m2 of luminance. The image quality should therefore be there.
The Alienware x14 is available now from 1,949 euros in our latitudes. Clubic will receive it for testing in the coming days.
