Chapter 254 of Jujutsu Kaisen therefore resumes with the fight between Sukuna and Kusakabe. But it is then that he is surprised by a cursed technique from the antagonist that he activated without making any movements. Then, we are treated to a flashback where Kusakabe is showered with compliments by several characters like Nanami, Mei Mei and even Gojo (big star of Jujutsu Kaisen) who tells him that his Simple Domain is a nice ace up his sleeve. We then return to the present, and Sukuna is preparing to extend the target of his cursed technique.
Kusakabe counters by extending his Simple Domain, which surprises Sukuna. We are reminded that it can automatically attack anyone inside. Kusakabe follows up with a barrage of slashes. His katana ends up breaking, but he simply decides to go at it with his bare hands. It’s surprising, but it’s a pleasure to see. While he dominates Sukuna, he remembers his debt to Yaga, the words of his friends, and he ends up using “Hazy Moon”. A technique that forms an aura resembling the remains of his broken katana.
An unexpected character arrives in the arena
Kusakabe takes the opportunity to relaunch the offensive on Sukuna, but he grabs the hilt of the sword with two fingers, understanding Atsuya’s strategy aimed at his heart. The next panel shows us Kusakabe, with a large wound on his chest. Ui Ui arrives to help him, but Sukuna stood ready to welcome him. Is this the end for him? Well no, because surprise, Miguel arrives just in time to save him.
