Two different shapes and six variants in all. That’s what you’d expect from the OnePlus Nord Watch. The connected watch affordable OnePlus, whose name is not yet confirmed, would like to please everyone.
OnePlus is about to launch a new connected watch seeking to target the right equipment/price ratio… while leaving a lot of choice to the customer in terms of design. The OnePlus Nord Watch, whose final name remains to be confirmed, would thus be available in no less than six versions in all.
Three round models, two rectangular models?
In any case, this is what the specialized site reveals 91Mobiles, sometimes well informed. We learn that OnePlus would concretely bet on four models with a round dial and two models based on a rectangular dial, close to that offered on the Apple Watch.
The renderings revealed by the site allow us to observe notable differences between the four round versions of the supposed OnePlus Nord Watch. For the first two models, there are two side buttons, but also different screen borders, as well as the bracelet, which is also different.
The third model is content for its part with a single side button and appears a little smaller than the other two in terms of format. It also seems that these three versions do not rely on the same metal for their case… or at least not on the same finish. A reinforced version of the round One Plus Nord Watch would also be on the menu, with two buttons on the right side, and a time stamp around the edge of the dial.
Towards a ridiculous starting price…
The rectangular models are distinguished for their part by dials of different sizes and distinct attachments. On the other hand, there is a side button in both cases. The six models of OnePlus Nord Watch would finally be equipped with a GPS chip.
91Mobile believes for the rest to know what will be the definition applied to these different variants of the connected tocante of OnePlus: the circular models would bet on 240 x 240 px or 390 x 390 px depending on the dial chosen, against 240 x 280 px or 368 x 448 px for rectangular variants.
For now, we do not know when this new connected watch will hit the market. It is also difficult to say if all these versions will arrive at once, or if we should expect staggered launches. 91Mobile on the other hand, estimates that this possible OnePlus Nord Watch will be offered at a starting price of around 5,000 Indian rupees… or just over 60 euros excluding taxes.
