Compared to the old Amarok, which will continue to be built in Argentina for the South American market in the coming years, the new edition has grown by 10 centimeters in length to 5.35 meters. The wheelbase has increased by 17 centimeters to 3.27 meters. As is typical for the segment, there will be a version with a two-door single cab and a four-door double cab. A Euro pallet fits on the loading area of the double cab version, two pallets are possible with the single cab. The payload has increased to 1.2 tons, the towing capacity is up to 3.5 tons. The loading area is equipped with lashing eyes that can take loads of up to 500 kilograms. An optional cargo box can be combined with an electric roll cover. Thanks to a roof load of 350 kilograms, the new Amarok is also suitable for installing a four-person roof tent.
