The new version of the Midjourney AI image generator is looming

Following the announcement of the release of a web version of Midjourney with a graphical interface, the image generator powered by artificial intelligence should soon benefit from an update.

Midjourney v6 should benefit from new capabilities, including the generation of larger images, as well as 3D models for the video game field. Another novelty could also see the light of day, which would consist of an engine capable of generating videos by AI.

The results considered bad are already astonishing

Midjourney developers have already started the calibration process. To do this, users subscribed to the service are invited to participate in the project. For each series of tests, you are asked to select the best rendering between two images displayed on the screen. This long and tedious process is simplified and accelerated by the participation of Midjourney members.

The first round of calibrations is only for the worst Midjourney v6 creations. Although they are defined as the worst results of the tool, the first images shared on social networks are already very promising.

Midjourney in its new version would also be capable of playing an industrial role, as shown in the illustration representing the plan of a robot. More generally, the images from this first human calibration session already reveal improved quality.
