A new trailer for one of the big releases on Nintendo Switch
Originally, Paper Mario: The Millennium Door was released in 2004 on GameCube. It was one of the great classics of this console, offering us an original adventure in the world of this famous plumber that we all know. Last year, to everyone’s surprise, this game came back into the spotlight with a big announcement: a remake is approaching on Nintendo Switch, more than 20 years after its birth. Suffice to say that the community was on fire, even if the title generally remained in the shadows after that.
It still resurfaced during MAR10, the event dedicated to this oh-so-famous franchise. He then revealed its release date, set for May 23. We will therefore have to show a little more patience. To help us wait, Nintendo has unveiled a new trailer which tells us about the adventure that awaits us. This time, no gameplay images, but rather a cutscene in the style of the game, that is to say all on paper. And we must admit, it’s very pleasant to watch.
And so, why will Mario set out on an extraordinary quest? As the name of the game suggests, our hero and his friends will go in search of a legendary treasure hidden behind… The Millennium Gate! Our epic will begin in Port-Lacanaïe, as the plumber goes there to find Princess Peach. The problem is that she’s not there. Obviously, she’s missing, and she needs to be found.
