Astro Bot is coming soon to PS5 and it’s going to do things in a big way. The game promises to be particularly generous and colossal on many levels. We didn’t expect it.
Announced with great fanfare during the last State of Play, the great PS5 exclusive Astro Bot is eagerly awaited by an army of fans. After Astro Playroom (directly installed on the PlayStation 5) which was a hit, Team Asobi will be back with its little robot in September. Be careful though, expect an XXL game, we are a long way from the previous adventure.
Astro Bot is coming and will hurt your PS5
A widely published photo on social networks reveals the supposed cover of the game in Japanese version. We learn that the game will weigh no less than 66 GB, it’s absolutely colossal and clearly it’s unexpected. The next Astro Bot would therefore obviously be almost 6 times bigger than Astro Playroom. He finally gets closer to one Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart. While we will still be cautious until nothing is confirmed, it would seem that the next installment of the little robot will go all out.
A game much bigger than expected
An adventure that should clearly be bigger than Playroom was. The game is often seen as a simple demo game supposed to sell the PS5 and the features of the DualSense 5. This is not wrong either.
If the next Astro Bot also promises to make full use of the DualSense and play with PlayStation mascots by promising more than a hundred cameos, it should however be a truly unique game that will completely stand on its own. . We are promised around 80 levels and a load of bosses. But also fun gameplay and unique skills to vary the pleasures and a good laugh.
We will know for sure soon sinceAstro Bot will arrive on PS5 on September 6.
