This is the title Hammerting, a simulation and strategy game with RPG elements, where you manage a colony of dwarves in the unexplored mountains of Mara. In fact, the game immerses you in a world where a war rages on the surface, forcing you to forge, explore and fight to provide your allies with the best weapons and equipment to fight against evil.
You start with a few dwarves and must quickly establish your mining operations, meeting the demands of your allies while improving your base to make a name for yourself in the Overworld. The game focuses on managing resources, building and expanding your colony, while exploiting the strengths and weaknesses of each dwarf, each unique with their own stats, traits, skills, and more.
In the deep land
Players are called upon to make strategic decisions to expand their colony, carefully managing resources, and navigating through the dangers of the deep to discover new materials and treasures. The dynamics of surface warfare add an extra layer of strategy, as one must balance the demand for weapons and equipment while ensuring the colony remains secure and prosperous. Game mechanics also include physics and fluid aspects, such as pumping burning lava to fuel forges, brewing beer, and illuminating the unknown depths with torches. The game will be available for free for life from March 29 to April 1, 2024 at 3 p.m. Central European Time.
