Volkswagen calls it an “environmental bonus”, the Chinese manufacturer GWM calls it an “electric bonus” – Polestar, on the other hand, is now offering an “innovation boost”. But what is always meant is the same thing, namely electric cars that are cheaper compared to the recommended retail price.

In this context, Polestar is offering the Polestar 2 electric car for up to 6,500 euros cheaper. The list price now starts at around 41,800 euros. The discount is limited to a promotional period that ends March 31, 2024. You can find further information about the discount from the manufacturer here.

Depending on the model you prefer, the discount varies. The manufacturer only grants the full 6,500 euros for the higher-priced all-wheel drive model with two engines. For the version with a rear engine, the price drops by 4,500 euros. However, this discount does not apply to other electric cars from the manufacturer.

The WLTP range of the Polestar 2 is between 610 and 655 kilometers; The manufacturer states the average power consumption as 14.8 to 15.8 kWh/100 kilometers. Interesting: The ADAC has reported how the average fuel consumption and range of electric cars have improved over the past ten years.
