The next Pokémon on Nintendo Switch Pro? It’s the rumor that swells!

As we told you, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will appear in just over ten days from now, and if players are eager to discover this 9G, Nintendo’s flagship license is looking to the future, and more specifically to the manufacturer’s next console if we are to believe this new job offer which says a lot.

The Switch Pro finally approaching and for real?

For many months now, there have been several rumors about the development of the next Nintendo console, which should then be the famous Switch Pro. If we unfortunately do not have at the time of writing these lines the slightest detail on this one, here is a job offer that says once and for all that the Japanese manufacturer is indeed working on it.

Spotted by our colleagues from VGC, this job offer actually mentions that the Creatures studio is looking for a 3D modelerand if that seems more than normal for a development studio, it’s the rest of the announcement that interests us the most: Creatures is looking for a 3D modeler yes, but the ad also mentionsresearch and development for next generation consoles“. Through these few words, we can therefore understand that Nintendo is most certainly working on the next Switch console right now..

As a reminder, the current Switch has already hosted no less than 5 Pokémon gameswhich is more than each of the other consoles, and it must be admitted, but the graphics of the latest Pokémon opuses have caused a lot of debate within the community in recent years, especially with Pokémon Legends: Arceus but also the new title that hasn’t even been released yet, Pokémon Scarlet and Purple.

Pokémon on a more powerful console, what would it look like?

If the Nintendo Switch Pro is indeed in development at the manufacturer, the future for the Pokémon license will only be more beautiful. Indeed, if we are to believe the latest rumors concerning this famous console, it should offer a 4K resolution, even if Nintendo has denied this information.

According to the various studios working with the manufacturer (via Bloomberg), several Switch games in development would offer the option of 4Kand as a reminder, no Switch console, not even the OLED, has this option at the moment. Thus, we could have a sublime resolution, but also most certainly a more powerful console with a new processor, but this remains of course only a guess.

Anyway and in any case, we will have to be patient and wait for official announcements from Nintendo.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will be released on November 18 and while many players are counting the days, Nintendo’s production seems to have already shattered pre-order records. Would this next opus be the most successful of the entire license?
