The August 2023 Disney Plus programs you can’t miss
We readily admit it, the programs mentioned are not the best sellers, but we have not burned all our cartridges. As promised, a huge Star Wars program is finally coming: Ahsoka. The character of Ahsoka Tano, a gray Jedi from Shili, is getting her own series. And to embody it, the Disney + platform recalled actress Rosario Dawson who made her debut in the role in season 2 of The Mandalorian.
One series can hide another and the new releases for August 2023 welcome the first part of season 19 of American Dad. A completely crazy show, in line with American animated sitcoms like Futurama, The Simpsons & co, directed by Seth MacFarlane (Les Griffins, Ted). A family of losers made up of a father who is a CIA agent, a talking goldfish or even an alien who kills time with certain pleasures of life to be consumed in moderation.
Then, you may also want to continue the crazy adventures of Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez) in Only Murders in the Building season 3. Three crime enthusiasts who, unwittingly, will cross the fence by becoming acting investigators. Star Wars Ahsoka (August 23)
“In the aftermath of the fall of the Empire, ex-Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano investigates a latent threat that could upset the fragile balance of a still-vulnerable galaxy…” synopsis of Star Wars: Ahsoka. This new mini-series, of eight episodes, will be entitled to a weekly broadcast on the basis of one episode per week. Except for the launch where there will be a double ration from August 23rd. Only Murders in the Building season 3 (August 8)

In this first part of season 19 of American Dad, Francine and Roger will want to be in the spotlight by landing roles as real estate agents on reality TV. The family will take a rustic ski vacation, while Stan brings the 50s back to Langley in a parody of American Griffiti if the episode title is to be believed.
