OnePlus announces the holding of a new event in early April and confirms that the products will be released in France. We also already know what the brand will present: the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite and the OnePlus Nord Buds 2. A smartphone and wireless headphones that aim to offer good value for money at an affordable price.
While leaks indicate that Oppo and OnePlus are preparing to leave the European market, the latter announces an event to launch a few products. Appointment is given on April 4 at 3:45 p.m. (French time). The brand also confirms that France will be affected by these announcements.
At the moment, the manufacturer has not indicated any technical specifications about the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, but based on the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite released last year and the visual, we can expect some things. To be certain, meet on April 4 at 3:45 p.m. for the presentation of this smartphone for less than 400 euros.
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite: what we expect
All that OnePlus has revealed about the Nord 3 in addition to an image of its design, is its new color: pastel green. A design that moves away from what OnePlus has historically done with photo blocks bringing together the sensors and the flash. The brand seems to be turning to a formula where the sensors are separated (but not all). A trend illustrated on the market mainly by Samsung, in particular with its Galaxy S23 or its Galaxy A34 and A54.
On the photo sensor side, we expect to have a main sensor as well as a macro sensor and a depth sensor, which could both be 2 MP as on last year’s model. Finally on the prices, difficult to say: the Nord CE 2 Lite had been launched at 319 euros, but given the economic context, we can expect a slight increase in the price for the OnePlud Nord CE 3 Lite 5G, which as its commercial name suggests, will be 5G compatible.
OnePlus Nord Buds 2: what we know about these next affordable headphones
Alongside the Nord 3, OnePlus also plans to present the Nord Buds 2, a sequel to the first Nord Buds of the name, a year after their launch. After an affordable and convincing pair of wireless headphones, the manufacturer will come back with a new one, which could also be sold for around fifty euros.
The model was certified in China by the FCC last February: enough to have some ideas of the design and characteristics of the headphones. Each earphone would thus have a 41 mAh battery, supplemented by the battery of the case, with a capacity of 480 mAh. According to initial estimates, we expect autonomy between 27 and 36 hours, ANC or not. First images allow us to glimpse the design of the case, which would be very similar to that of the Nord Buds. Other rumors reported the presence of noise reduction technology during calls or IP55 resistance.
