Six months ago, OnePlus launched its first connected watch : the OnePlus Watch. This is now joined by a much more affordable model from the Nord range. It sports a very different design and must make technical concessions.

After months of rumors and then teasers, the OnePlus Nord Watch has finally been made official by the manufacturer. It is already available in India, before a possible launch on international markets.

Water resistant

The OnePlus Nord Watch is equipped with a 1.78-inch Amoled screen offering a display of 368 x 448 pixels (326 pixels per inch) and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The maximum brightness reaches 500 nits. The brand has opted for a rectangular design reminiscent of that of the Apple Watch.

The dimensions of the case, made of zinc alloy and plastic, are 45.2 × 37.2 × 10.4 mm, for a weight of 35.6 grams (without the strap). OnePlus also announces an IP68 certification for protection against water and dust, good news for an entry-level product.

The connected watch has a 230 mAh battery giving the device an autonomy that increases up to 30 days in energy saving mode, and up to 10 days in standard use.

A price below 100 euros

At this price, the OnePlus Nord Watch is unsurprisingly devoid of GPS. It therefore relies on its Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity to retrieve information from the smartphone to which it is connected.

As for sports and health metrics, the smartwatch has a three-axis accelerometer, heart rate sensor, and SpO2 sensor. 105 activity modes are available, as well as functions for monitoring sleep and the menstrual cycle.

The OnePlus Nord Watch is released in Midnight Black and Deep Blue colorways. Its Indian price is 6,999 rupees, the equivalent of 88 euros. An introductory offer makes it possible to acquire it for 4,999 rupees (63 euros). All that remains is to know its release date and the price that will be charged in Europe.

Reached by us, OnePlus claims that the product is not planned for Europe ” for the moment “. We’ll be sure to let you know if this changes in the future.
