“Even if many do not want to hear it, but those who refuse to be vaccinated – all those who could get vaccinated but do not – are the drivers of the current wave,” says Herwig Lindner, President of the Styrian Medical Association. At a media meeting with leading doctors on Saturday in Graz, he welcomed the compulsory vaccination for health professions, which Minister Mückstein had announced the day before: “We have a duty of care for patients and must not pose a threat to them because employees are not vaccinated.”
