Head to outer space this week at Epic Games, which offers an action-packed journey through worlds. And for that, it is The Outer Worlds which is offered on EGS from April 4 to 11. Looter shooter inspired by other big names in video games, it mixes a crazy storyline with addictive mechanics.
Awakened after a long period of hibernation, the protagonist finds himself caught at the center of a conspiracy aimed at destroying the colony on which he had come to settle. Aware of what this represents, he is the only one who can choose his future. And that’s all the salt of this adventure. Choose what you are going to do in each situation, before seeing the repercussions it can have. Whether helping the colony or the other factions, we are the unknown variable of this universe that can change everything.
With its history, The Outer Worlds is a looter shooter very inspired by a certain Borderlands. But if its beginnings were difficult, the game was able to take a different direction which helped it stand out and be appreciated. Overall, the gameplay doesn’t really stand out. However, a generative system of qualities and defects is present, making each situation more risky than the other. Depending on your style of play, certain flaws will hinder you, and vice versa.
