A terrible drama. Morocco is in mourning, after the earthquake that occurred during the night of Friday September 8 to Saturday September 9 in the Marrakech region. This violent earthquake – which was of magnitude 7 according to the Moroccan Center for Scientific and Technical Research – is the most powerful in the history of this North African country. More than 2,000 people died in these circumstances, according to the still provisional assessment communicated this Sunday, September 10 by the authorities.
