The Paris Stock Exchange extends its rebound

The Paris Stock Exchange is moving up 0.60% in the first trade on Tuesday, extending its rebound from the day before with the momentum of American technology stocks which makes it possible to defy a still gloomy context.

The star CAC 40 index rose by 43.10 points to 7,241.16 points around 9:30 a.m. The day before, it had gained 0.47%.

The French 10-year rate rose 3.21%, remaining close to its highest level since 2011, reaching 3.27% last week.

Tech in place

Companies in the technology sector were buoyed by the renewed strength of the Nasdaq on Monday, in particular the semiconductor sector thanks to the gain of more than 8% on a session of Nvidia: STMicroelectronics rose 1.69% to 43.28 euros, Dassault Systmes by 1.17% 35.99 euros, Capgemini by 0.86% 163.45 euros.

On the expanded SBF 120 index, Soitec rose 1.00% to 176.45 euros and Ubisoft climbed 6.06% to 28.53 euros.
