Squid Game Season 2 brings us news with new, never-before-seen footage that promises a deadly sequel.

Well, no need to introduce Squid Gameyes? Released in 2021, this Korean series halfway between Fort Boyard And Saw has literally exploded on the platform. It has become a global success, THE biggest success on Netflix in fact with more than 265 million hours of viewing. Yes, it is titanic. More than a series, Squid Game has become a global phenomenon. TV show, video games, merchandise galore… remakes are even in production. But while we wait to see what the American version of the squid game will be like, the real series Squid Game will return with a highly anticipated season 2.

Squid Game Season 2 Shows Even More

It will be a trilogy, or at least a series in three seasons and not one more visibly. After a season 1 which already seems very far away, season 2 of Squid Game will be released on Netflix this year, on December 26th. It will feature Seong Gi-hun, winner of the first games, who will find himself caught up in a new series of increasingly deadly trials. Until now, while we had been treated to an announcement and a release date for the first episodes, we unfortunately did not have a real trailer worthy of the name, but that has just changed.

Netflix took advantage of Netflix Geeked Week to share with us, in the middle of the night (at home), a first real trailer for season 2 of Squid Game.
We see some of the new events, and especially, a good number of henchmen who no longer seem to really bother to play the mysterious. Behind the camera, it is once again Hwang Dong-hyuk, who also lends his pen as with the first season.
We don’t know yet what this second part will tell us, but things clearly seem to be getting worse quickly. See you at the end of the year to find out for sure.
