The photo block of theiPhone 14 should take up space. Rumors around the future flagships of Apple are numerous, and the new smartphones from the manufacturer should be a sign of renewal in terms of design.

It is also whispered that the photo sensor would be more prominent than before and it would be for a good reason.

An imposing photo sensor for the iPhone 14

According to analyst Ming Chi Kuo, well known in the industry for his forecasts, the Cupertino company would switch to superior optics for its main photo sensor with the arrival of a 48 megapixel lens, the surface of which should be 25 to 35% larger than previous iPhone models. Its height should also be increased by 5 to 10% compared to the iPhone 13 Pro, which would amply bring out the module.

According to several rumors, Apple would use in the future a 1/1.3 inch sensor with smaller pixels than those of the iPhone 12 Pro Max, all coupled with the pixel binning, technology allowing to have more details by combining several pixels. The iPhone 14 is also expected to be able to film in 8K. It remains to be seen what the American giant has really planned, and we will still have to wait before an official communication.
