Building on its success over the past two years, Niantic has just announced the date of the third edition of its event on Pokemon GO Fest. From Saturday June 4 to Sunday June 5Trainers around the world can celebrate.
The Pokémon GO Fest allows players to unlock special rewards and bonuses. This year, the Fabulous Pokémon Shaymin, the Gratitude Pokémon, will appear.
Tickets for the event are already available for €14.99. They include access to the event on Saturday and Sunday. Each day will allow Trainers to access a different experience. For the first time, a special event will take place on Saturday August 27, 2022.
To note that it is not necessary to benefit from a ticket to benefit from the event.
SATURDAY, JUNE 4, FROM 10 AM TO 6 PM (LOCAL TIME)
Four habitats will alternate every hour, each hiding different Pokémon:
- Municipality
- plains
- Tropical forest
- Tundra
For the very first time in Pokémon GO, Balignon, Chamallot, Carabing, Coupenotte and Escargaume may appear in their chromatic version.
Ticket holders will be able to enjoy the following features:
- Event dedicated to Shaymin, the Gratitude Pokémon. Special studies will reveal more about this Fabulous Pokémon.
- Different levels of difficulty for the special study: Relaxation, Standard and Master. The chosen level will determine the sticker received as a reward but will not modify the other rewards.
- Different game modes: Capture, Exploration or Combat. The choice will determine certain missions of the special study.
- Four collection challenges based on the different habitats.
- Possibility of encountering a Chromatic Unown B
- Increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokemon with Incense. The results will be increased on Saturday unlike on Sunday.
SUNDAY, JUNE 5, FROM 10 AM TO 6 PM (LOCAL TIME)
On Sunday, a short special study scenario will be available. Note that all Saturday Pokémon can appear on Sunday.
Ticket holders will be able to enjoy the following features:
- An additional Special Research Scenario after completing the short Special Research Scenario available to all Trainers.
- Pokémon attracted to incense on Saturday will reappear.
- Team GO Rocket Hot Air Balloons will appear more frequently. You’ll earn double Mystery Items by defeating Team GO Rocket minions.
For the event, a Pikachu wearing a special Shaymin-inspired hat will be able to spawn in the wild and in 1-Star Raids. With a bit of luck, you can even find it in a Chromatic version. A surprise will be available if you take a photo during the event.
At last, ticket holders will find special event stickers in Gifts and PokéStops. Additionally, up to 9 free Raid Passes will be given out by turning the Arena PhotoDiscs.
