The information comes from a forum dedicated to GTA VIon which intervenes a certain Tez2, an active member, but above all a leaker and a well-known dataminer.
In response to a comment suggesting that Sony may launch a new version of the PS5 at the same time as the release of GTA VITez2 says: “ Most AAA studios should have received the mid-gen upgrades dev kits or should receive them early in the new year “.
Another user asks him if this is reliable information or just a prediction on his part, and Tez2 lets it be known that he is sure of his shot.
A new Xbox is also planned
If we rely on the usual delays between the distribution of dev-kits and the launch of a console, we can count on the availability of the PS5 Pro for 2024. The PS5 being released in November 2020, it would also be a logical date to aim for the middle of the generation. Remember that in 2023 is also expected a slim version of the console, a PS5 which would be equipped with a removable Blu-ray player.
