We love it for its great value for money
This is indeed good value for money for the be quiet! Pure Loop 2 240 which allows it to be included in our comparison.
The Pure Loop 2 240 is also very affordable, making it a great choice for users who want a high-performance liquid cooling system without spending a lot of money. It is offered at a price of around 100-110 euros, which makes it one of the most affordable AiO watercoolers on the market.
And even if the price is low, the performance is not. The Pure Loop 2 240 incorporates a 240mm aluminum radiator, two 120mm Pure Wings 3 PWM High Speed fans, and a decoupled dual pump. Heat dissipation is efficient and relatively quiet.
How does the Pure Loop 2 fare against competition of the same price?
The AiO Pure Loop 2 watercooling can be compared to another model from the manufacturer, the Pure Loop 280 (previous generation of Pure Loop), and to a competing device at the same price, the Kraken 120 from NZXT.
Let’s first take the two models of be quiet!. The Pure Loop 2 240 obviously wins hands down, since the version is more recent and benefits, among other things, from a better quality pump, new generation fans and a metal backplate.
What about the Kraken 120? It has the advantage of being slightly less noisy; the difference is more noticeable when the machine is running at full speed. However, heat dissipation is more efficient with AiO Pure Loop 2 watercooling from be quiet!.
be quiet!, the brand that lives up to its name
“be quiet!”, literally “be silent!”. A brand name that sounds like a watchword for its AiO coolers and watercooling. And for good reason: this is the manufacturer’s basic promise, namely to limit the noise of its devices.
In 2016, Silent Loops appeared, but suffered from reliability problems. be quiet! is then launching a new range in 2018: the Pure Loop, both affordable and efficient.
2023 is the year of V2 for the Pure Loop: The models in this range are equipped with new Pure Wings 3 fans, an improved pump and a metal backplate
