Released at the beginning of June, The Quarry is the new narrative and horrifying game from the Supermassive Games studio, to whom we owe The Dark Pictures Anthology and Until Dawn. Since its official launch, the software has been a great success with players. Moreover, detaching itself a little from its elders, The Quarry offers a game mechanic, called “ Death Rewind », allowing to cancel the death of certain characters. But how to unlock it?
How to unlock “Death Rewind” on The Quarry?
At the beginning of May, before the official release of The Quarry, the game’s director, Will Byles, had explained the game mechanic, named “Death Rewind”. On the official website, this feature is described like this:
[…] Start the story with three chances to rewind a character’s death to change their fate and save them. But with only three flashbacks per game, you should think twice before deciding if one life is really worth saving, and if preventing that death might not ultimately cause another. Choose wisely […]
In order to unlock the so-called “Death Rewind” feature on The Quarrythere are two distinct ways:
- To buy The Quarry Deluxe Edition gives immediate access to the “Death Rewind” feature.
- If you own the standard edition of The Quarry, you will have to complete the game onceto unlock said feature.
