More than thirty years ago, this sordid affair had stirred up France. The body of a young girl had been discovered by the side of the road, showing numerous signs of mutilation. If her parents have since blamed themselves, new expertises cast doubt on the mother’s guilt.
Her name was Inass, she was 4 years old. The girl was found dead in August 1987 at the edge of the A10 motorway in Blois (Loire-et-Cher). In June 2018, the case had experienced a major twist, the DNA of one of the brothers of the little Inass was taken from another case, which finally identified the body of the child, more than three decades after the fact. Once the parents were identified and then located, they were immediately charged with murder.
Since their incarceration, Inass’s parents have continued to bring different versions to each audition.
