“The Raw Stuff” – underground art for subcultures in book form

Endless field of creativity
Although – subculturally limited to rock, metal and punk one would like to be in the foreword by publisher and also artist Tom Gasperlmair. Various concert posters for international greats such as The National, Tocotronic and even the Rolling Stones show that the underground has long since mixed with the mainstream. But that should by no means be interpreted negatively, because “The Raw Stuff” is not primarily about a compelling reference to certain niche bands, but about the beauty of artistic versatility, about the diverse and sometimes completely contrary styles, reality and fiction using brushstrokes, screen printing processes or let the tattoo needle mix. “The thought of our subcultures does not end on the box of your favorite record, it has been transferred to art movements such as tattoos and street art for years,” as Gasperlmair explains in book two.
