The Ray-Ban Stories connected glasses by Meta and Ray-Ban are finally making their arrival in Europe, initially in a limited number of countries. Their release in France is scheduled for April 14, with improved features.

These glasses will therefore come with improvements in video recording time, which will be doubled, and local languages supported for voice commands.

The most stylish connected glasses on the market

The Ray-Ban Stories hit the US market in September 2021 at an introductory price of $299. These connected glasses incorporate the features that made the success of the Spectacles models from Snap Inc. (Snapchat) or those from Bose and Amazon: photo taking, video recording, media listening, calls, etc. All thanks to two 5-megapixel cameras on the ends of the frames and microphone slots, for a weight 5 grams, heavier than a normal pair of Ray-Bans.

And it is the partnership with the famous eyewear brand that makes all the difference for the Ray-Ban Stories. Most of the time, the design of connected glasses, considered too heavy and impractical, is the main obstacle to their sale. But here, the same features are incorporated into classic, more go-anywhere Ray-Ban frames, adding a certain style.

The connected glasses have now arrived in Spain, Belgium and Austria, and will be released on April 14 in France. With them will come adapted languages, revised functionalities and in particular the recording time which goes from 30 to 60 seconds. This will happen with a software update scheduled for the beginning of April. Selling price by us: 329 euros.
