What is the promotion on this MacBook Air M3?
The 13″ MacBook Air, with M3 chip and a 256 GB SSD, is sold for €1,299 on the Apple website. It is currently offered at the price of €1,199 on the Fnac website.
A trade-in bonus of €200, available until July 7, 2024, allows the price of the laptop to be reduced to €999. To benefit from this trade-in bonus, you will need to opt for in-store collection at the time of ordering.
What is this new MacBook Air?
In terms of design, the MacBook Air 2024 takes up the style of the previous model, including the much-maligned notch on the screen, unfortunately still present on this model. The laptop is however very elegant with beautiful curves, and Apple obliges, its finishes are excellent. Its dimensions of 304.1 × 11.3 × 215 mm for a weight of 1.24 kg make it an easy model to slip into a bag suitable for transport.
Apple’s ultra-portable features a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina screen with a resolution of 2560 × 1664 pixels. The performance of the panel is certainly not at the level of OLED, but the contrast and brightness are of good quality, and the colorimetry is on point. Visibility is perfect and you can use the laptop outdoors, provided you avoid the sun. Once opened, the backlit keyboard is quality. It has precise typing and a responsive trackpad. You will find a TouchID fingerprint reader to unlock the computer or authenticate your online purchases.
Is this MacBook Air M3 a good deal at this price?
It’s an excellent deal at less than €1,000 with the trade-in bonus for your old equipment. The M3 chip provides even more power than on older models. The MacBook Air M3 allows you to perform demanding tasks such as video editing or photo editing without weakening. Applications launch quickly and smoothly, and without heating up the laptop. Players will even be able to launch games, without pushing the graphics settings to the limit.
In terms of autonomy, the M3 chip allows a good day and a half of use. In the case of intensive use, allow one day. It recharges in around 2 hours, via the MagSafe port.
