The Mario + Rabbids 2 Sparks of Hope release date is now fully official. The Nintendo Direct Mini trailer is just a taste of the festivities prepared by Ubisoft.
When is Mario + Rabbids 2 Sparks of Hope coming out?
As revealed in advance by the Ubisoft Store, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope will be available as a Switch exclusive from October 20, 2022.
Bowser joins the now-famous Bunny Peach, Luigi, Bunny Mario and Princess Peach to form a colorful team that will have to stop Cursa, a malevolent cosmic entity, from throwing the galaxy into chaos. Determined to consume all the energy in the galaxy, Cursa and his minions hunt the Sparks, strange creatures resulting from the fusion of the Lumas with the Rabbids, and intend to destroy all who stand in their way. To put an end to Cursa’s nefarious plan, players will need to locate and rescue the Sparks to join them, opening up new tactical possibilities to help heroes gain the upper hand in battles..
This sequel is intended to be in line with the previous episode, namely a game that is certainly tactical but also accessible for those who are not experts in the genre. It will still be turn-based, this time with real-time elements. The other novelty is that you will have to collect Sparks to unlock other skills.
Each Spark will have its own personality and a unique power such as energy shields or powerful elemental attacks.
