According to him, the release of Fable 4 is still far away. Patience is therefore required for fans after a first announcement dating back four years already.
Fable 4 writes a new tale for its release date
With the busy latest Xbox Games Showcase as part of Summer Game Fest 2024, this is the third time we’ve heard about Fable 4, developed by PlayGround Games (Forza). In addition to fleshing out its story and presenting some gameplay extracts, its latest presentation also provided us with a very wide release window: 2025 on PC, Xbox Series and Xbox Game Pass.
If we are to believe Tom Warren, it could be that the highly anticipated Fable 4 will come to enchant us with its magical tale tinged with British humor à la Terry Pratchett during the fourth quarter of 2025. To support his words, this one evokes sources close to Microsoft. Given that he’s hit the nail on the head for many of the Xbox Showcase announcements, including a prediction that proved right for DOOM: The Dark Ages, we can find some credit in his latest newsletter.
However, the news should be taken with a grain of salt. Regardless, 2025 will definitely be a very promising year for Microsoft’s gaming branch. The end of 2024 will certainly not be left out either, with Avowed, Indiana Jones and STALKER 2 in particular. A beautiful fairy tale (or a Fable, if you’ll pardon the expression), being written for Xbox?
