The release date of Fangs, the new MOBA from one of the creators of League of Legends is known!

Although he was never the most publicized employee of Riot Games, steve feak is one of the major contributors to the existence of League of Legends . This developer, also known as Guinsoo, was not only part of the team responsible for making the first versions of the game even before the start of the closed alpha, but also contributed to the original Dota creating the most popular map in this game mode. Today, with almost 15 years of experience in the genre, the Hidden Leaf Games studio presents the first version of its new title: Fangs. This is a new MOBA, which will be free and also has a release date.

The new free game from the creator of League of Legends

Fangs is a four-player team arena game that wants to return to the origins of MOBAs, removing certain phases of play to focus almost exclusively on combat and strategy at the heart of it . It will be possible to customize the characters stands out, thanks to a system of amulets that modify their basic combat characteristics. For example, there are damage-focused heroes who can become healers through these talismans.

Developed hand in hand with its community, listening to the opinions of the latter following the tests which took place every 15 days, Fangs now has an official release date. The game will be coming to Steam and the Epic Games Store as a early access from November 30 . Of course, it will be free since, in line with League of Legends or Dota, its economic model is based on the acquisition of cosmetics. Even if the game will be playable, it is not really its official release, the latter being planned for the second part of 2023.

What does this early release contain?

During the Early Access period, Fangs will receive patches every two weeks whether for balancing or introducing new content. Among its most interesting aspects is the fact that each round is independent of the previous ones, so there are no snowballs or conditions that can disadvantage the team having lost the first round in the long run. The first to win a certain number of rounds wins and the result of each of them depends solely on the strategic approach and individual skills .

Even if it comes from the imagination of one of the dads of League of Legends, Fangs would be more reminiscent of Battlerite in its realization. There is no question here of presenting the game as a future competitor to LoL, but rather a more nervous alternative for MOBA fans.

Henry Cavill needs no introduction. Inveterate geek, confirmed PCist, but also interpreter of Geratl de Riv in the series The Witcher of Netflix or of Superman on the side of DC Comics. But did you know that the actor was also a huge fan of Arcane, the series inspired by League of Legends?
