To have a quality game on all platforms, Two Point Campus is postponing its release. Sega, however, has already set a new release date for next summer.
Unfortunately, you will not be able to manage your university next month. The Two Point Campus simulation, originally scheduled for May 17, 2022, is shifting its release. The developers are committed to providing quality gaming on all platforms.
A new release date
The (bad) news has fallen: Two Point Campus will be released on August 9, 2022 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo, PC and MAC. A postponement of a few months. As explained briefly in the preamble, the team does not want to rush and arrive with a wobbly product on one or more platforms. Since then, pushing back the title will allow them to polish all the versions :
Our ambition from the start has been to release the game simultaneously on PC and consoles, with the level of quality that our community expects. For it, we need a little more time to make sure Two Point Campus is the best game it can be on any gaming platform. We are going to take advantage of these additional three months to optimize the title on all media.
Two Point Campus: the vision of the developers
These few words from Mark Webley, game director of Two Point Studios, are accompanied by a video of the developers. For just over five minutes, the team talks about their motivations and key new additions. Everything is sprinkled with new gameplay sequences.
Two Point Campus will let you build “the campus of your dreams and shape the lives of your students to provide them with the best possible educational experience”.
Beyond typical academic pursuits, students at Two Point County enjoy many quirky and wonderful courses like Gastronomy, where you learn how to make all kinds of oversized culinary delights. Tech enthusiasts will take the Robotics course in which science, teachers and students come together to create giant robots. Students each benefit from their own unique traits, and all of their unique needs will need to be addressed to help them thrive as individuals, and thus build the legacy and pride of your university.
It will be available on August 9, 2022 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC/Mac, Nintendo Switch and will join Xbox Game Pass upon release.
