The release of the Samsung Galaxy S24 advanced?

Samsung’s next flagship, the Galaxy S24, could well arrive a little earlier than usual.

Like every year, Samsung will respond to the release of the new series of smartphones from its rival Apple, which is currently occupying all the shelves with its iPhone 15. At the start of next year, we will be entitled to the Samsung Galaxy S24, already revealed by several rumors.

But contrary to the habits of the South Korean giant, which likes to present its devices at an Unpacked conference in February, this range could be made official in January!

So what could the Samsung Galaxy S24 look like? If at the moment we only have a fairly unclear idea, with perhaps unpleasant surprises on the horizon, we are however starting to see its potential launch date. A date was in fact revealed by the leaker Ice Universe on Weibo.

The latter announces on the Chinese platform that the new series could well be presented on January 18, a few weeks before Samsung’s usual annual meeting. Surprising information, but one to take into account when we know to what extent the leaker has established itself in recent years with numerous proven leaks on smartphones in general, and Samsung in particular.

Take on the speed competition?

Why move so quickly for Samsung? Indeed, at first glance, there is no real fire in the lake, no competitor launching its new flagship at this time. But it is perhaps precisely to take advantage of this period, located just after the holidays, where tech news is quite calm, that Samsung could bring forward this launch.

The giant could thus occupy the headlines of the specialized media just before the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. A good communication operation? As a reminder, according to the latest rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S24 would arrive with two different chips, the Exynos 2400, intended for the Asian, African and European markets, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, for North America and the China.
