the releases of the week with a cult film!

Prime Video will be hosting several big films this week, including one from an absolutely cult license and a comedy that promises to be downright hilarious!

Winter is behind us, or almost, and spring is arriving little by little. But while waiting for the most beautiful season (no debate), we can still stay for a while hidden under the duvet watching films and series while the latest releases are there. That’s good, the main SVOD platforms have quite a few releases at the beginning of March. Whether you are a Netflix, Disney+ or Prime Video team, there will be plenty to do. And precisely on the Amazon platform, it’s busy for March 2024, even if this week, the releases are… discreet.

All the releases of the week on Prime Video

As is often the case, Prime Video draws everything at the start of the month and is content with a few releases here and there for the remaining days. After having fired its big guns from March 1, notably with very big films, Prime Video is only capitalizing on a few films this week, including a big animated feature film and a comedy that hits the mark. It’s light, yes, but these three big films should provide a few hours of welcome entertainment.

Three films, three genres, but nothing more!

It starts on March 5, Prime Video viewers will be able to enjoy Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, one of the very last films of the famous license. After the explosive Dragon Ball Super: Broly, the Saiyans are back in a new animated feature film which this time features Gohan, Goku’s super-powered son. The latter will face new threats alongside a Piccolo determined to do battle. Overall, if the film is not bad and can count on several particularly successful action scenes.

Then, Prime Video subscribers will be able to count on Ricky Stanicky, a welcome comedy starring Zac Efron and John Cena, which we now see everywhere. The film features three best friends who, for many years, used an imaginary friend as an alibi to excuse just about anything and everything. But when a huge event forces them to reveal the identity of this mysterious friend that no one has seen, they have no other choice: recruit an actor to play the role of this famous imaginary friend. Bad luck, it’s a disaster. Not enough to break a duck’s three legs, but this comedy should certainly entertain and bring out a few smiles. Finally, it’s the movie Ferrari who will bring up the rear. Carried by Penelope Cruz and Adam Driver, the film recounts the setbacks of the famous brand.
