Netflix is stocking up on new releases from the start of November. Films, series, documentaries… we have plenty to do even if we will especially remember the adaptation of a legendary game by Capcom. And no, it’s not Resident Evil yet.
Home stretch before the end of year celebrations. We are in the middle of autumn, it is already starting to get cold and the weather is getting cloudy. What’s better than snuggling up under a blanket on your sofa with a good coffee or hot chocolate? Honestly, we all like to curl up in front of Netflix between games of video games. Here are all the new features coming to the SVOD platform for the start of November 2023 (week 44), and there are already quite a few cool things to watch.
Netflix series of the week from October 30 to November 5, 2023
This week on Netflix, new series are making their debut and others are returning with a new season under their belt. As for new features, we welcome Cigarette Girl, a series that will transport us to the 60s to follow a young woman who tries to find her place in a difficult time in Indonesia. Fans of stories about the Second World War can jump on All the light we can’t see, which traces the life of a blind teenager who meets a German soldier in France at the end of the war. Finally, if you follow The tailor And Selling Sunsetyou will be delighted to learn that new seasons are coming for both programs at the start of November.
Finally, the highly anticipated adaptation ofOnimusha finally arrives on Netflix. The anime inspired by the cult game is directed by the father of the series Castlevania, one of the big successes of the platform. We will find everything that makes the legendary Capcom franchise: samurai, demons, muscular clashes and much more. Failing to have the right to a new game, we will therefore find the license on the small screen. Soon a Dino Crisis series? Obviously Capcom prefers to transpose its expected licenses into series than to offer us new games. Yes, this is an editor’s whim, so what?

Films of the week: humor and drama, it’s up to you
The Netflix films from this beginning of November (S44) are few in number, but all very different. In particular, we will be treated to action and comedy with The Thieves, worn by Mélanie Laurent, Adèle Exarchopoulos and Manon Bresch. We will follow the story of three women as attractive as they are formidable who will do everything to offer themselves a dream life and finally touch what they have dreamed of for ages: freedom.
If French comedies aren’t your thing, you can always set your sights on New Olimpo, a love story between two men in Rome in the 70s. A film awarded at the Rome Film Festival and full of emotion. When in doubt, if laughing and crying aren’t your thing at all, why not take a look at Unsinkable ? A film that returns to the true story of a woman who takes on a major challenge: that of swimming from Cuba to Florida. A stretch of sea of 160 kilometers all the same.

Finally, some documentaries on Netflix this week, including The Mysteries of Faith. A report in several episodes which scrutinizes the beliefs which revolve around mystical objects, true Catholic relics. Another highlight of this week, Sly: Stallone by Stallone. Like Schwarzenegger, Stallone is scrutinizing his entire career. From his complicated beginnings, to international success through all the difficulties he had to face. A dinosaur among the dinosaurs that can be found on the poster of The Expendables 4 Besides.
