What’s new on Mickey’s SVOD platform? We take a look at the new Disney+ releases for the week from November 27 to December 3, 2023. A highly popular program is celebrating its 60th anniversary with something new.
As with Prime Video, it’s time to close the page of the new Disney+ features for November 2023. These obviously remain available for several months for subscribers, but don’t expect massive additions. The penultimate episode of Super Noël, the series season 2 will nevertheless be put online tomorrow. It was one of the big outings in a fairly quiet month. But it will be more eventful soon, and this is already the case with the comeback of an emblematic franchise which has survived the ages without aging.
Disney+ films from November 27 to December 3, 2023 (S48)
It’s not a Disney+ release of the week, but if you missed it, the Buzz Lightyear film is finally available in France. The title speaks for itself, it’s a spin-off about the irreplaceable space ranger from Toy Story. An animated feature film, obviously from Pixar, which tells the story “from the real hero who inspired the toy”, and which contains a whole bunch of references to SF cinema. If some criticize a lack of inventiveness, this independent adventure was rather well received, but that was not enough. It’s one of Pixar’s biggest flops. Bad sign for Toy Story 5? Probably not because the saga with Buzz, Woody and the other toys remains very popular.
The real Disney+ novelty of the week from November 27 to December 3, 2023 is The Shepherd. A short film starring John Travolta based on the book The Shepherd: A Christmas Carol. It’s the story of a young Royal Air Force pilot who finds himself in distress over the North Sea. But the latter will regain hope when a shepherd, a plane whose mission is to rescue other zyncs in danger, comes to his aid. This will logically be the new Disney Plus film of the week, even if the final programming will help us see things more clearly.

The Disney+ series of the week, a legend returns (S48)
