The Resident Evil 4 remake could partially reconnect with the approach of the first abandoned demos

But the meeting of the two Ms never took place and Mikami would have preferred to devote himself to Tango Gameworks, as a recent interview with the person concerned confirmed.

M-Two is the studio responsible for the remake of Resident Evil 3. However, the mixed reactions about the latter would have caused M-Two to see the project withdrawn, now entrusted to the internal team of Capcom at the origin of Resident Evil 2 (Remake), as we mentioned in January of last year. According to Imran Khan, M-Two would now only have a supporting role although all the work done by the studio was retained. Capcom would have taken the opportunity to influence the direction taken by the project: the objective would no longer be to achieve a strict recreation of the original game, but rather to bring it closer to what the publisher had unveiled of the latter during the Tokyo Game Show 2002 then during the Nintendo conference at E3 2003, namely a much more frightening and dark atmosphere. In terms of the changes brought about by this remake, there are also much larger secondary roles in the story. Our colleague evokes for example the case of Ada Wong. In the original game, it was only entitled to a fairly superficial chapter. The following reissues – on PlayStation 2 in particular – offered the famous double agent an already more substantial story, subtitled Separate Ways.
