The Rogue Prince of Persia delays its release to avoid Hades 2

Announced during the Triple-i Initiative, The Rogue Prince of Persia sees its release date pushed back. This change was not really planned, but the surprise arrival ofHades 2 somewhat disrupted Evil Empire’s plans. The game is still scheduled for the month of May however, but not from the 14th. Avoiding this juggernaut will also be an opportunity for the studio to take a little more time to prepare for their early access.

From the first lines of their press release, Evil Empire clearly explains what pushed them to postpone this release date. Hades 2 arrived. Everyone is won over by the game and spends their time there, including the developers. To avoid encroaching on this achievement and ensure players aren’t forced to choose between the two, The Rogue Prince of Persia leaves a little more time before its release.

Obviously, this time will be used to further improve the experience. Especially since Evil Empire does not yet seem satisfied with its rather heavy Day 1 patch. They will be able to take the opportunity to test it a little longer and make adjustments accordingly. However, the studio assures that its game is arriving this month of May. We will have to wait until Monday to find out this new date.
