The Rolling Stones: Fans have been waiting for this song for 46 years!

"Scarlet", a song by the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page, has finally been released 46 years after its creation.

It was never played, never released, and no bootleg existed. Rolling Stones fans have been waiting for this song for almost half a century: "Scarlet", the collaboration between the Stones and Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page (76), emerged from a jam session in 1974. 46 years after its creation, the Reggaelastige track named after Page's daughter has now been published including a lyric video on YouTube.

It is one of three previously unpublished songs that are included on the deluxe edition of "Goats Head Soup". The album was first released in 1973 – the Stones were working on the successor when "Scarlet" was created. Even if the memory of the legendary session has faded somewhat by now, Keith Richards (76) says that his band with Led Zeppelin shook the studio's handle and Page spontaneously decided to stay. As Page the "Rolling Stone" reported back in 1975, the session degenerated into the early hours of the morning.
