“The Rookie” celebrates a special anniversary in season 6. In keeping with this, a video from the set has emerged that may already tell us the fate of Officer Aaron Thorsen.
100 episodes of “The Rookie” – the series is finally celebrating this anniversary in the 6th season. The cast and crew of the popular ABC show took this as an opportunity to celebrate a little after filming. The actors and actresses posted happily from the set and the celebration. But a big spoiler seems to have crept in.
Does Aaron appear in the 100th episode and survive?
Melissa O’Neil’s video compilation on Instagram is particularly exciting. Because the Lucy Chen actress shows her colleagues there for the 100th anniversary. Lisseth Chavez and Tru Valentino can also be seen, among others.
In particular, the fate of Valentino’s character Aaron Thorsen was left unclear after he was critically injured by a group of masked mercenaries in the Season 5 finale. Since Valentino is now appearing in the 100th episode, Aaron must have survived at least until the 3rd episode of the 6th season. So chances are good that we won’t have to say goodbye to him.
The fact that Lisseth Chavez was at the celebration is also a good sign. Her character Celina Juarez was also injured in the attack by the mercenary squad and there was a fan theory that she could die from a brain hemorrhage and that the series was just trying to lead us on the wrong track with Aaron’s injury. Celina will most likely survive in season 6.
Of course, the two actors could have just returned to the set to celebrate with their colleagues.
With the premiere of “The Rookie” Season 6, we may get our final answer as to whether Aaron and Celina really survived. The new episodes will start on February 20, 2024 on the US broadcaster ABC. It is not yet clear when exactly the 6th season of “The Rookie” will start in Germany. The 5th season of the series will start on Disney+ on December 13th, 2023. So far she has only been seen on Sky and Wow.
