  • “The Rookie” Season 6 aims to offer a lot of entertainment value despite its short running time.
  • Unfortunately, it comes at the expense of the fans, as the series’ most popular couple splits up as a result.
  • The cast is also affected by the decision and ABC is sending out care packages with lots of ice cream.

“The Rookie” Season 6 has a huge shocker in store for fans. After it felt like it took forever for Tim Bradford and Lucy Chen to finally admit their feelings and get into a relationship, their great love affair is over again. In episode 6 of the current season, the big Chenford separation occurs.

Many fans didn’t take the news well and the series creators and broadcaster ABC probably know exactly what they’ve done. As a small consolation, the entire main cast of the series received a small care package: six packs of ice cream and a card that says: “You’ve been through a lot in the last 24 hours and we know you’ll need some time to process it. Please accept this ice cream from us to help you deal with the #Chenford breakup.”

While Celina Juarez actress Lisseth Chavez posted a picture of the card in her Instagram story, her colleague Shawn Ashmore (lawyer Wesley Evers in the series) uploaded a whole video. Lucy Chen actress Melissa O’Neil also posted a video on her Instagram story that she received an ice cream package.

ABC probably has to send a lot of ice cream to the series’ fans before they can forgive the fact that one of the show’s most popular couples, Lucy Chen and Tim Bradford, is now going their separate ways.

But unfortunately we have to wait some time until we find out how the story about Lucy and Tim continues and how they get over their separation. Episode 7 of “The Rookie” Season 6 will only appear on Sky and Wow on May 1, 2024. ABC is once again taking a three-week break from broadcasting in order to be able to stretch out the greatly shortened season 6 as much as possible. There will only be 10 episodes in total.

In a preview for episode 7 of “The Rookie” season 6, we see that both Lucy and Tim are struggling with the breakup. Sergeant Gray even questions Tim’s mental state and has the police psychiatrist accompany him.
