Nvidia could soon launch SUPER versions of its entry- and mid-range RTX 4000. This is what the leaker MEGAsizeGPU claims, who however warns that it will not be a big technological leap compared to standard models. In fact, only the chip should change.
A few weeks ago, Nvidia launched a SUPER version of its RTX 4080. The formula is as simple as it is irresistible: a more powerful graphics card than the original model, while being less expensive. Unsurprisingly, the latter quickly became a great success with players. Also, we expected Nvidia to apply the same treatment to the other models in the range. This could happen soon, according to leaker MEGAsizeGPU.
On his account X (Twitter), the latter has in fact revealed that SUPER versions of the RTX 4060, 4060 Ti and 4070 will arrive in the coming weeks. The RTX 4070 SUPER will arrive in March, while the other two will launch next month. We do not yet know their precise release date or, in fact, the details of their technical sheet. However, MEGAsizeGPU provides a first glimpse of what awaits us.

Indeed, it specifies that these new graphics cards will arrive with a new chip. Good news, but… that’s about it. The leaker specifies in response to a comment that Nvidia should not modify anything else in the GPU technical sheet. As with the RTX 4080, we should therefore be entitled to better performance, but certainly not anything revolutionary.

It is therefore very likely that the manufacturer will adopt the same formula, namely a graphics card whose main advantage is its reduced price compared to the original model. Of course, we will have to wait for an official announcement from Nvidia to know what really awaits us. If the dates announced by the leaker are accurate, we should soon have some news.
