PARIS, June 7 (Reuters) – The man of Russian-Ukrainian nationality arrested on Monday in a hotel in Val-d’Oise in possession of products intended for the manufacture of explosive devices was indicted, in particular for participation in a terrorist criminal association, announced the national anti-terrorism prosecution on Friday.

The man, aged 26, arrived in France a few days ago and is also being prosecuted for possession of a substance (…) or elements intended to compose an incendiary or explosive device with a view to preparing destruction , specifies the PNAT in a press release.

He was arrested following an intervention by firefighters to treat him when he had significant injuries caused by an explosion.

The judge of freedoms and detention was contacted with a view to placing the accused in pre-trial detention, adds the PNAT. (Written by Kate Entringer)
