The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is revealed before its official presentation

As Samsung prepares to unveil its next mid-range smartphones, part of the technical sheet and the design of the Galaxy A33 are already leaking on the net.

On Thursday March 17, 2022, Samsung will unveil its new Galaxy A range. An important event for the South Korean, which achieves a large part of its sales thanks to mid-range mobiles. We don’t yet know which models will be shown on stage, but the Galaxy A33s will probably hold no secrets for anyone. In fact, different leakers leaked the technical sheet and visuals of the device.

This is the case of Evan Blass who allows us to discover the rather sober curves of the smartphone, available in black, gold and blue. The opportunity to see that this model has a notch still in the shape of a drop of water to house the front photo module. Unsurprisingly, it strongly resembles the Galaxy A32. However, we note the presence of a quadruple photo sensor on the back coupled with an LED flash. The power button and volume bar are on the right edge.

For its part, the English site Supports released renders of the 5G version of the smartphone. The design is identical, but it should benefit from the white color in addition. According to the British, it should be equipped with a 6.4-inch Super Amoled FHD + (2400 x 1080 pixels) panel, an as yet unknown Exynos 1280 chip and a 5000 mAh battery compatible with 25 W charging. The screen would have a refresh rate of 90 Hz and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It would also benefit from an IP67 waterproofing certification. Alas, the charger should not be provided.

The photo would be provided by a 48 megapixel wide-angle (f / 1.8), an ultra wide-angle of 8 Mpx (f / 2.2), a macro sensor of 5 Mpx (f / 2.4) and a portrait lens associated with a 2 Mpx sensor (f / 2.2). At the front, we would benefit from a wide-angle of 13 Mpx (f / 2.2). This Galaxy A33 5G could be available in a single 6/128 GB version billed at €379.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G should take inspiration from its little brother. One of the site’s journalists Supports also shared a fairly extensive technical sheet of the latter. Here we would be entitled to a 6.5-inch 120 Hz Super Amoled panel, the same processor and the same battery.

The photo part seems more ambitious with a 64 Mpx (f / 1 / 8) wide-angle lens with optical stabilization, a 12 Mpx (f / 2.2) UGA and the same two sensors as on the Galaxy A33s. Everything will run on Android 12 and the One UI 4.1 overlay.

We just have to wait for the presentation of this Thursday to discover the rest of the technical sheets of the range, and especially their respective prices.
