The future Samsung Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 reveal the first details about them.

Samsung’s mid-range smartphones now enjoy great popularity among the general public. Often appreciated for their performance, their screen, or even their durability, the devices in the Galaxy A range continue to charm users year after year.

Expected for 2024, the Galaxy A35 and A55 could have a new feature that will bring them closer to their high-end counterparts.

Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55: towards more high-end finishes?

It is once again to the tipster Revegnus, on X.com, that we owe the following information. According to him, the Galaxy A35 and A55 would abandon their plastic finishes in favor of a metal frame, thus giving them a more high-end appearance than usual.

A welcome change, although the Korean has already equipped some of its mid-range smartphones (including the Galaxy A51 5G) with a metal frame in the past.

Once in hand, this will allow future buyers of the Galaxy A35 and A55 to have the feeling of having a more premium smartphone than with previous generation versions.

Moreover, future devices have recently started to communicate to us some elements concerning their design and their technical specificities.

Everything we know about the Galaxy A35 and A55 so far

A few days ago, the design and features of the Galaxy A35 leaked onto the Web. We then learned that the device would finally abandon the usual teardrop-shaped notch in favor of a punch, thus aligning itself with Samsung’s other flagship models. The mid-range should also be equipped with a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.

On the photo side, we will logically find a 50 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle and a 2 MP macro lens.

If the Galaxy A55 will look more like its predecessor, the first renders shared by On Leaks And MySmartPrice strongly suggest that the new smartphone will benefit from a flat frame similar to that expected on the Galaxy S24 and S24+. Note that the Galaxy A55 should be the first in the range to feature an Xclipse GPU based on AMD’s RDNA 2 architecture.

Finally, the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 are both expected to be powered by Samsung’s new Exynos 1480 chipset. Obviously, both devices will ship directly with One UI 6.0 (Android 14) and are expected next January.

Certainly, the smartphone is weighed down by fairly slow charging, limited to 25W. A defect nevertheless compensated by the excellent autonomy of the model, of which the pleasure of use must be emphasized thanks to the One UI 5.1 interface, welcoming and neat.
