The manufacturer is launching a brand new application to help its users improve their shots taken on smart phone.

The smartphone is today the most widely used camera in the world and brands improve the quality of the images produced by these devices every year.

Samsung puts photography at the heart of its latest smartphones

Samsung is one of the most diligent pupils in mobile photography with devices like the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra which offers no less than four sensors, including a 108-megapixel main one and numerous shooting modes integrated into the shooting app.

The Korean brand has also launched several mobile applications for advanced users, such as Expert Raw, which allows experienced photographers to retrieve raw shots in order to make their modifications in the smallest details.

To increase the editing possibilities offered to its users, Samsung has just launched a new software called “Galaxy Enhance-X”.

A very accessible editing application thanks to artificial intelligence

This application offers several types of modifications such as adjusting the sharpness of the image or the exposure, increasing the resolution, or even the dynamic range. It can also be used to remove reflections present in photos.

To simplify the task of users, the interface has been designed to be as simple as possible. Each setting is presented in the form of a slider to be manipulated from left to right to adjust the quality of your shot according to your preferences, which is reminiscent of photo editing applications like Snapseed or Adobe Lightroom, available on the Google Play Store.

In order to obtain the best results, Samsung uses image processing assisted by artificial intelligence. With each modification, these systems will analyze the image to apply the settings without distorting the snapshot taken by owners of Galaxy smartphones.

Galaxy Enhance-X is only available from Samsung’s Galaxy Store. To take advantage of it, your phone must be equipped with Android 10, which will allow slightly older Samsung Galaxys to also take advantage of this rather practical tool to retouch its images in just a few minutes.
