The manufacturer has blocked the possibility of pre-ordering one of its new tablets
in the United States 48 hours only.

Samsung made the event by simultaneously presenting its new smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Ultra, but also a new range of tablets, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8.

Delays in the United States, but not in France

Composed of three models, including the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and its huge 14.6-inch OLED screen, this new family of slates seems to have quickly found its audience.

Samsung has indeed announced the end of pre-orders in the United States on its official website. ” We are delighted with the consumer response to our new Galaxy Tab S8 range. Due to the huge demand for the past 48 hours, we will be discontinuing pre-orders on Samsung.com for the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S8. We work fast to meet consumer excitement and demand “, told the brand to the site XDA Developers.

Two reasons can explain this sudden shortage even before the launch. The manufacturer could experience, like a large part of the industry, difficulties in sourcing components. Samsung could also have underestimated the appeal of its new range of tablets and would have had very limited stocks to offer its customers.

Note that in France things seem to be going better and it is still possible, at the time of writing this article, to pre-order a copy, whatever the version or configuration desired.
