What is this Samsung T7 Shield SSD on sale?

Physical media are less and less present and the digital storage of data has become the norm. The amount of data present in your computers is therefore greater and often requires an additional storage solution. SSDs are hard drives that provide performance in addition to storage. The T7 Shield connects via USB 3.2 Gen 2 and reaches up to 1000 MB/s in reading and writing. The sharing speeds are fast with great fluidity of execution.

It easily connects to Mac, PC, or even your games console. It is possible to secure it with a password thanks to the management software that accompanies it. However, be careful not to forget your password. The reset procedure is complicated and you may lose your data in the process.

Is this Samsung T7 Shield SSD a bargain under $100?

At less than €100, it’s an excellent deal. Its small size and weight make it a perfectly nomadic and easy-to-carry external drive. It is covered with a rubber layer to absorb shocks. According to Samsung, it can even withstand a 3m drop, but the test is obviously not recommended. It is also IP65 certified and resistant to water spray and dust.

The T7 Shield comes with two USB-C cables. Unfortunately, the case connector is not the strongest part of this SSD. Be careful when handling the disk not to move the cables unnecessarily, otherwise the assembly will be disconnected.
