Over the first 6 months of the 2022 financial year, the turnover of La Savonnerie de Nyons fell to 1.4 million euros against 1.9 ME in the 1st half of 2021 which included a large Korean order . Over the period, the company remained impacted by the sharp rise in raw material prices and transport costs, which could not be fully passed on, and by a sharp slowdown in sales in Russia and Ukraine, linked to the Russian-Russian conflict. Thanks to its dynamic order book and sustained development, La Savonnerie de Nyons announces favorable prospects for the second half of the financial year. The tension on raw material prices and on transport costs tends to ease while remaining at the high levels of before this strong inflationary period.
For the 2022 financial year, La Savonnerie de Nyons anticipates a turnover comparable to that achieved in 2021, after two years of very strong sales growth of +35% in 2020 and +20% in 2021.
The company remains confident about the continuation of its development. From 2023, La Savonnerie will be able to pass on new partial increases to its products.
