The Seat MÓ 50 electric scooter arrives in France with one of the largest autonomy

For its first 50 cc equivalent electric scooter, Seat offers the MÓ 50. A model that has an interesting technical data sheet, in particular in terms of its very high autonomy.

For a long time, Seat has built its pride on its many iconic cars. But in recent years, the Spanish brand has also been trying to reinvent itself. This involves the arrival of new 100% electric scooters, such as the MÓ 50. This new model, already announced in December 2022 and almost similar in appearance to the Seat 125 (a sort of “big brother” of the MÓ 50) is sold with a strong argument: its autonomy.

In the very competitive sector of electric scooters, where each manufacturer tries to stand out as best they can, the Seat MÓ 50 highlights its removable 40 kg lithium-ion battery, which gives the scooter a maximum autonomy of 172 km, one of the best on the 50cc electric scooter market. And as with the Seat 125, the battery of the MÓ 50 is a battery-suitcase on wheels, which takes between 6 and 8 hours to recharge.

This battery is also accompanied by a 4 kW motor. A very energy-intensive engine, which can however allow speed lovers to reach 45 km/h in less than 4 seconds. Seat also relies on the inclusion of three driving modes: Eco, City and Sport to convince potential users with different profiles.

The advantages of the large model, but in 50

For comfort, know that the MÓ 50 has storage space capable of accommodating two helmets and improved connectivity, with two USB ports and compatibility with the Seat MÓ app, which allows the scooter to be shared without key.

Of course, all this has a price: 5,900 euros. For a 50 cc electric scooter, it’s still expensive, especially for a manufacturer that says it’s targeting a young audience. Other manufacturers offer similar models at more attractive prices, such as the Go2Roues Rider or some Niu.

Seat offers in any case to pay these 5,900 euros in LLD (long-term rental) from 89 euros per month over 37 months with a contribution of 900 euros (covered by the ecological bonus) and 15,000 km included.

In terms of aesthetics, you will have to choose between two shades: Barcelona Gray and Tarifa Blue. If you have any doubts, you can always go to dealerships, where the Seat MÓ 50 will be available from March 2023.
